It assists in achieving the roadmap towards realization by addressing specific challenges (gap milestones) for promising research seeds. We announce that Research Leader Masumoto has been selected for the RIKEN Gap Fund in the research project titled "Development towards the societal implementation of a heart-on-chip microdevice for drug discovery and cardiotoxicity assessment". Working in collaboration with the Coordinator from RIKEN Innovation Co., Ltd., we will actively contribute to solving concrete challenges for innovation and continue efforts towards the practical application of the heart-on-chip microdevice.
