Jul. 12, 2024
The RIKEN Gap Fund supports the commercialization of research seeds with potential for commercialization and technology transfer by addressing specific challenges (gaps/milestones) on the roadmap to realization. This year, Research Leader Masumoto has been selected for the RIKEN Gap Fund for his research project "Development of a Heart-on-a-Chip Microdevice for Drug Discovery and Cardiotoxicity Assessment," continuing from last year's selection. This year's selection was made with a recommendation from the RIKEN Program for Drug Discovery and Medical Technology Platforms (DMP). We will continue to address specific challenges towards innovation and work towards the practical application of the Heart-on-a-Chip microdevice.
