採用情報
個体はたくさんの種類の細胞から構成される多細胞システムです。1つの細胞が分裂を繰り返して個体ができあがる過程を理解するためには、遺伝子や分子から細胞へ、細胞から組織へ、組織から組織の集合へと、階層を一歩ずつ上がっていく必要があります。そのためには、最新の技術による生命現象の定量的な計測と、物理学や数学を基礎にした計算モデルやコンピュータシミュレーションが不可欠です。私たちの研究室では理論的アプローチと実験データ解析のアプローチを組み合わせて、細胞の情報処理、細胞の運動、細胞集団の協調的運動、遺伝子ネットワークの研究を進めています。
